a tooth! and other things

Reece's tooth broke through last Saturday while he was at my mom's! FINALLY! But, he's slept like crap since then. I'm pretty sure that the tooth next to it will be in soon.

He's getting so close to crawling! He now gets up on all 4's and rocks and just today he's started moving himself backwards! He can also go from his belly to sitting up!

I cannot believe that he's 8 months old already! Time is going way too quickly!

Hopefully I can post some new pictures this week...I've been beyond busy the last two weeks.

Reece and Don have survived their first two weeks at home together. Don was laid off the first week of February, and in order to save us some money, he's keeping Reece during the day instead of taking him to the sitter's. I must say that it's gone well! I've even come home to a clean kitchen and yummy dinners - a girl can't ask for much more!

Reece is finally starting to sleep a little better! We started putting him in his crib while he's still awake and letting him fuss himself to sleep a little. I realized that he only ever falls asleep in our arms and we need to do something about that. He's been sleeping better...and Friday night he slept for 9 hours straight! Granted, since he went to bed at 7:30, he was ready to go at 4:30am! Thankfully, Don woke up with him and I slept 'til 6.

Not much else going on....he's not crawling yet, just rolling all over. He still doesn't have teeth, but I think I see some white spots, so I'm hoping they break through soon.

Reece cries when I leave!!

He cries and whines when I leave the room.
Today, he cried for a second when I left for work! It made me happy that he loves me so much that he cries when I leave! Sure, I miss him while I'm gone, but I sure to appreciate every second home with him in the evenings and on the weekends!

He was also a total shit for Don today! He took like two 20 minute naps and that's it. By about 6:30 this evening he was done, and I just had to put him to bed. Hopefully, he sleeps better tonight!

Today we played peek a boo while looking at each other under his music table! These are some of the best giggles ever! Enjoy!

Valentine's Day

He was not very cooperative today and would not give me very good smiles.
But...he stands at his music table by himself! I have to put him there, but he'll stand there and play for a few minutes at a time!

Ear check!

Reece had his ear check appointment and thankfully, his ear infection is totally cleared up! He still hates when the doctor looks in his ears.
I'm just glad because he won't get any shots at his 9 month well check!!
