busy busy!

I just can't seem to keep up with this! Time goes too quickly!
Reece has recently discovered that he has hands, so he's always holding onto them! He also realized that there is a tongue in his mouth, so he likes to stick that out! He drools a ton and squeals! Don calls him our parrot!

Enjoy a few recent pictures. The Baptism is this coming weekend, so I'll try to post pictures in a more timely manner!

This is not good.

I have been back to work for 2 weeks and am already sick. I only have a few sick days left for the year and I used one today and have a feeling that I'll be using another one tomorrow. I started losing my voice on Monday and by evening, it was pretty much gone. There was no way that I could talk all day to my students. Hopefully I'll be able to go back tomorrow.
The doctor put me on some antibiotics so hopefully that'll help clear up this sinus mess quickly.
On a bright note, I got to spend the day with Reece! He was very good, and very, very cute!

3 Months Old!

I cannot believe that Reece was 3 months old yesterday! Time has gone by way too quickly! I forgot to take his picture yesterday, I did it today. This morning, we woke up and he played with his rattles for a bit. He tries to eat them

After a long day at the apple orchard, he was a tired guy. He took a nice nap with dad while I did some school work.

blogging makes Reece sleepy

I had him in my lap while I was posting and now he's totally conked out! I'm sure that if I put him in bed and tried to get some sleep myself that he'll wake up.

2 weeks down!

This week is finally over! My students are CRAZY...they just talk all the time. They're already driving me nuts. Reece, on the other hand, has been absolutely wonderful this week! He's been so cute and smiley for us lately! Tonight, we caught him on video sticking his tongue out at us - hilarious.



I am horrible about rememering to take pictures when we go places, but we had a busy two weekends. Two weekends ago Reece and I went to the parade in downtown P-burg with Mindy and Ayden - my friend from school and her son and then Reece and I went to the GFS/Misejka golf outing. As usual, everyone oogled over him!



Last weekend was my favorite day of the year: "Hunky Turkey Day" at Aunt Kathy's! We had SO MUCH GOOD FOOD...I was full for 3 days! Reece took a great nap on Aunt Kathy's bed and everyone missed him while he slept, but I was happy he had a long nap!



Reece's baptism is scheduled for October 26...I think it's time I start planning! Aunt Ashley and Cousin Matt will make great god-parents.

Don's parents are coming up tomorrow to celebrate Don's birthday - it's next weekend. And on Sunday, Reece and I may go to the apple "Torture" with my mom, Ashley and Logan. (Jake calls it the apple torture instead of the apple orchard!)

I'll try to post a bit more often, it's just not so easy during the week!

There's Never Any Time!!!!

Ahhh!! I think working moms need 36 hours in a day! It's crazy. My house did not get cleaned this weekend and I still have not finished my plans for the week...but I did spend TONS of time with Reece! (and, I don't really care about the house!)
He was a little fussy for Mrs. Heather in the beginning of the week, he wanted to be held all the time, but come Thursday, he was one happy camper! He was all smiles for her and for us in the evening! He's still waking up once during the night, around 2:30 or 3:00am, but that's alright. At least we get 5 hours of sleep before he wakes up.

It was Race for the Cure and Hunky Turkey weekend...one of my favorites of the year! I decided to skip the Race for the Cure this year though. With it being my first week back to work, I didn't really want to spend all of Sunday morning away from Reece...and I did get some school work done this morning and we went to church. Then, Hunky Turkey at Aunt Kathy's was delicious as usual! There was SO much food, I don't think I'll eat for 3 days!

I promise to post some new pictures this week - hopefully Monday or Tuesday. I can't believe he'll be 3 months on Saturday! Time sure does fly!

Back to work.

I went back to work today. It was a long day, but luckily Reece slept 7 1/2 hours last night! I didn't even wake up in the middle of the night either! I felt quite rested when the alarm went off at 5:15!
Leaving him wasn't so bad. Thankfully we know the sitter and he's been to her a few times already. My worry is that I won't be able to keep up with everything (school, home, Reece, Don, myself...) it just overwhelms me! I'm sure I'll figure out a routine and things will be fine.
