balloons and bubbles

That's what Reece told me to get for our friend's son's birthday! So...that's what he's getting. A Sponge Bob Balloon, a bubble gun, and some sidewalk chalk and sidewalk paint (I added those myself)!
Hope he likes it!

Still Alive....

I am a horrible blogger. Sorry. I don't even have pictures to post tonight.
Things have been crazy busy with both of us in school and working fully time. All of our spare time is spent with Reece!

He is doing so much these days! He love helicopters ever since my parents got a remote control one for Don for Christmas. Every morning, one of his (Reece's) first words is "copter" and then we have to look for it! It's a bit of an obsession.

He loves playing outside, especially down at the neighbors. They have an adorable almost 3 year old that Reece loves!

He still loves going to Nicole's every day and we love that she watches him! She does a great job and he's happy. What more can we ask for?

Reece's vocabulary is growing every day. He amazes me and the words that he says and how he puts them together. He loves singing and rocking with us before bed and seems to talk from the moment he wakes up until he goes to bed.

More pictures will be posted after Easter when I'm on spring "break". (I don't have work, but my online class starts April 5)

We got it :(

The stomach flu that is. Poor Reece got sick after we got home tonight...thankfully I was still in my school clothes when he decided to yak on me. He is now sleeping, but I have a feeling we'll be up a few more times tonight. I took tomorrow off.
Turns out that the other little boy at the sitters has been getting sick all day (he was at home, not the sitters today), and now our babysitter is getting sick as well. Hopefully it will run it's course in 24 hours or less and we'll all be back to normal before long.

And...Don and I are just PRAYING that we don't get it!

I forgot to add....

That I also have one more molar! Which makes a Grand total of 10 teeth!

18 months old!

I will be 18 months old on January 4! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. It feels like just yesterday I was born!
Mom took me to the doctors on Monday for my check up. I really hate it there. I cried the whole time, just so mom and Dr. K knew that I was NOT happy.
They still weighed and measured me, despite my fit-throwing.

Height: 31 3/4 inches (28%)
Weight: 23lb 13oz (20%)
Head Circumference: 48 1/4 cm (75%) - I must have LOTS of brains up there!

Dr. K also checked me feet and legs because mom and dad are worried that my feet turn out. She watched me walk and bent my legs a lot, but said that they should stop worrying so much - They will correct themselves soon.
Comin' in for my close-up!
Mom thinks this picture is SO sweet!
Check out my new pillow. I even asked mom for a "kanket" and she covered me up! She's the coolest!
Smiles!
Coloring for daddy while he's at work. I think he'll really like this picture!!

teeth, a potty and some blocks

Cheese!Mom bought me this cool new toothbrush. Apparently, she was tired of me biting her finger.

Sitting on my new potty. I don't really go in it, but I like to make mom and dad think that I might because I always want to sit on it!
Check out the tower that I built with my new blocks!
Thanks Grandma Susie for my new blocks!

molar!

I have been a snotty, drooly toddler lately!
Last weekend, I was super cranky and just not feeling well. Mom (and Nicole) had to resort to putting bibs on me during the day because I drooled so much all week.

Well....

Tonight while mom was giving me a bath, she bravely reached her finger in my mouth and found a molar! She was very excited. I tried to bite her.

"Pah-cakes" and "ka-wee-wee"

That's what mom fed me for breakfast today and it was delicious! I wanted more, more, more! And when I asked for more, she only gave me "eerie-eerie-oh"

"pah-cakes" = pancakes
"ka-wee-wee" = kiwi
"eerie-eerie-oh" = cereal (if I make this one plural, it means I want cheerios, which is difference that cereal)

Love,
Reece!

having fun at home!

Walking around with a bowl on my head. I ran into the couch just a few seconds later. Mom said it was funny, I didn't laugh.
Here I am enjoying my favorite treat...a spoon of Cool Whip! Mom said that it's the "Marchal" in me that makes me like this stuff so much!
I felt like playing in my exersaucer the other night. I don't really fit anymore, but the toys are so much fun!
I LOVE bath time with Daddy! Sorry about my red, creepy eyes!
Mom calls this my bubble-hawk, like a mohawk, but with bubbles. get it!?

The Disney Trance

I really love Scott, Smitty, Rich, Dave and Warehouse Mouse. Imagination Movers is my favorite show!

Happy Halloween!

Just trying on my costume for Mom and Dad! Thanks Katie! I love Nemo!

Dear Chef Boyarde,

I think that you make the best food ever and my mom should feed it to me every day. Mom says there's too much sodium and other stuff in your food that isn't so good for me, but I don't believe her. Could you, maybe, make some ravioli or beef-a-roni with a little less of that sodium stuff?

Fall Fun!

I am having so much fun playing in the leaves with mom and dad!

What??!?!

15 Months!

Where has the time gone! We had our check up today and Reece cried the ENTIRE time we were in the exam room. he must remember when they had to flush his ears at 10 months.
He weighed 23.4 pounds (10%) and is 30.5 inches long (30%)
He's small and mighty because Dr. K said he's nice and strong!

We'll get his shots in another week or so - I'm so not looking forward to those.
